Ryan Sanger, Senior Manager in the tax service area of EKS&H, has been selected by the Northern Colorado Business Report as a member of the 40 Under 40 Leaders Honor Roll for 2013. Winners of this award are identified as emerging leaders who are helping shape the future of Northern Colorado.
"Ryan is an outstanding example of the kind of professionals we hire and develop at EKSH," said Fort Collins office head and audit partner Chris Otto. "He provides our clients tremendous service, serves as an incredible mentor to other staff, and is continually looking for ways to improve our local community."
Since starting his career with the firm seven years ago, Ryan has helped grow the Fort Collins office and the State and Local Tax (SALT) group. He has been instrumental in developing the people and the processes of this new, highly-technical and specialized tax service area. He works with clients in a variety of industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and retail. In addition, Ryan has been a leader of the monthly Northern Colorado tax learning program, EKS&H's Cultural Preservation Committee, and our local college recruiting efforts. He is also a member of the Leading Edge Alliance (LEA) State and Local Tax Steering Committee.
In addition to his professional impact and success, Ryan is also an active community member and dedicated volunteer to several organizations. "Ryan has been a long time leader within Junior Achievement and has made a significant impact within NOCO Active 2030, where he manages arguably the largest charity auction in the region very successfully," said Shane Brown, Audit Partner. "We are very proud of Ryan for making the class of 2013."
Ryan is also a member and former president of the Optimists Club of Windsor, and a volunteer with Grandview Elementary School and the Windsor Community Recreation Center. Ryan holds a BSBA in Accounting from Colorado State University.
