Nashville, TN - Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC), one of the Southeast's largest accounting and business consulting firms, has added Brett Kennedy, CPA, in its Brentwood (Nashville) office.

Brett Kennedy has joined the firm as a senior manager in the tax services division where he will be working in a variety of industries including healthcare, restaurants, professional service organizations and manufacturing. He brings with him expertise in income tax provisions, corporate and partnership tax compliance, and buy-side tax due diligence. He will be serving both privately-held and publicly-traded companies. He comes to LBMC from Ernst & Young, LLP where he served in the business tax services division as a senior manager.

Originally from Oak Ridge, Brett is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he received his Masters of Accountancy with a tax focus as well as a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics.  He is also an active member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountant, and periodically serves at various local charitable organizations.

Brett served his country for six years in the United State Marine Corp Reserves and now enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Mandy and 2-year old lab, Cooper, but can also occasionally be found on a golf course, running or watching Titans football.
