(BPM), one of the largest California-based accounting and consulting firms, is proud to announce that Richard Bellucci has been elected Chairman of the Board, while Founding Shareholder Curtis Burr will continue to serve as the firm's Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. Bellucci will succeed Marc Berger, who announced his plans to step down as Chairman to focus on client service initiatives and growth of the firm's East Bay region. Bellucci's term as Board Chair will commence immediately. BPM is based in San Francisco with approximately 350 personnel serving clients' assurance, tax and business consulting needs from its six Greater Bay Area locations, including San Jose, Palo Alto, Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa and St. Helena.

With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, including seven at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Bellucci will continue to lead BPM's SEC Practice Group serving a variety of industries including semiconductors, software, telecommunications and networking equipment, life sciences and venture capital. He has participated in numerous public offerings, private placements, and business combinations and possesses extensive experience in the SEC registration and reporting process.

Bellucci earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Business Economics with an Accounting emphasis from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is a member of the AICPA and CalCPA Society.
