Nashville, TN - LBMC is proud to announce it has been named to the 2014 Best Places to Work list by Nashville Business Journal  in the 101-499 employees business category.

"To be selected as one of the best places to work for is thrilling news for LBMC who has worked conscientiously to develop a distinctive culture," said Jessica Utley, LBMC Director of Human Resources. "Over the last several years, the firm has developed a number of innovative initiatives, but it is the attitude, compassion and dedication that people bring with them every day that make the greatest impact on LBMC being one of the best!"

LBMC prides itself on being an innovative organization, eager to hear what employees have to say about how to improve the company, which includes being employed there.  Ideas such as business casual, seasonal flex schedules, purchased PTO, discounted gym memberships, themed quarterly parties, sports days, Young Professionals (YP Group), coaching program and women's initiatives (and the list goes on and on) are all a result of listening to employees. Programs like these, as well as recognition by the Best Place To Work award itself, help LBMC recruit and retain a highly talented workforce.

Employees of nominated businesses were questioned with an online survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. The employee survey measured 10 key engagement categories including; team performance, trust in senior leaders and manager effectiveness. Responses from each question of each completed survey were compiled and calculated. Companies are ranked and honorees are chosen in each size category according to their overall composite score.

Nashville Business Journal honorees will be recognized during an awards luncheon April 16 at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, when the highest scores in each category will be revealed. Honorees will also be profiled in a special section of the Nashville Business Journal on April 18, 2014.
