Nashville, Tenn.- LBMC, one of the Southeast's largest accounting and business consulting firms, is proud to announce that Jill Hudson and Kim Hamil received the Outstanding Patricia Hart Society Leader Award recognizing their contributions and volunteerism to the United Way of Williamson County's organization.
Volunteers play a significant role in the work of United Way and Jill and Kim provide tireless and unwavering support and commitment to help to make the community a better place for everyone.
Each year, the United Way's Patricia Hart Society does several projects to help make a positive impact in the community. These include the annual fundraising event, the HeART to Heart Luncheon, egg hunts for agencies working with children, Stuff the Bus and the Full Tummies Warm Hearts Thanksgiving food giveaway.
Last year Jill, CPA, LBMC Tax Services Senior Manager, was the HeART to Heart Luncheon event chair and was instrumental in helping raise over $40,000 that goes directly toward United Way allocations.
Both women give countless volunteer hours to make sure all the events are a success. Jill not only chaired the primary fundraising event, she gives hours of her time to Stuff the Bus and Full Tummies Warm Hearts activities, organizing the LBMC effort to collect donated items and adopt families in need.
Kim, LBMC Tax Services Administrative Assistant, is the creative genius when it comes to the Patricia Hart Society projects and always has a creative and practical process to make everything work. She inspires the members to create new ideas for the events as she assists with decorations, logistics, making sure they do not forget a sense of humor.
Both of these women are invaluable to the Patricia Hart Society. LBMC is proud of both Jill and Kim for their dedication to improving lives.
