A Taunton based accounts senior has achieved Joint 8th Place in the ICAEW 2013 Annual International Order of Merit.
24 year-old Ross Bickerton, who is studying for his accountancy qualifications with Francis Clark, achieved his Top Ten placing after sitting six examination papers in the professional stage of the ACA qualification. The results of everyone who sat the examination are totalled and the Top Ten's names are published on the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales) website.
Francis Clark partner Martin Lock commented: "Attracting the most able young recruits to our business is fundamental to our future growth and in Ross we have an exceptional talent who will make a real contribution to Francis Clark's ongoing success. Achieving a Top Ten placing in the International Order of Merit is an excellent achievement and one that Ross can cherish for the rest of his career."
Ross Bickerton added: "I'm obviously very surprised and delighted but the most important thing is passing the examinations in the first place."
