Madison, WI,- To kick off their 40th anniversary celebration, SVA is hosting a "40 Days of Giving" contest.  Nonprofit organizations in the communities SVA serves will have the opportunity to submit an entry to win a share of the 40 Days of Giving provided by SVA employees. SVA prides itself on demonstrating their commitment to the community through employee participation on boards, committees and fundraising events, as well as through corporate sponsorship dollars.

"Without the support of the communities we work in, we wouldn't be here to celebrate our 40th anniversary," said Carl Schultz, President and CEO of SVA. "We are very excited to show our commitment to local organizations by giving back with our time and expertise. Our 40 Days of Giving contest is also an excellent opportunity for us to help showcase the positive impact of local nonprofit groups and their missions."

Nonprofit organizations will have the opportunity to submit an entry in one of three project categories including skill-based volunteers, event volunteers, or "wild card."  Submissions will be accepted at sva.com/40days from June 2-July 11, 2014. Nonprofit organizations who submitted entries will then rally support and gain votes for their project for 40 days between July 14 and August 26,, 2014. SVA will choose four winners from the top ten entries that are selected by peer voting. Winners will be announced on September 10th.
