MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.- Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP (LBL), a leading Twin Cities accounting, tax and consulting firm, recently announced that Dan Utz, CPA, has been admitted as a partner.
After 12 years as an assurance and advisory senior manager with a Big 4 accounting firm, Utz came to LBL in December 2012. Previously, he managed audits of domestic companies and their foreign subsidiaries. His industry specialties include manufacturing, consumer services, distribution, transportation and hospitality, owned by private equity groups, venture capital firms, and families.
Utz graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minn., with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
