INDIANAPOLIS - Sikich LLP, a leading accounting, advisory, investment banking, technology and managed services firm, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of David McDaniel, CPA to partner-in-charge of the firm's Indianapolis office.
"Since he joined Sikich, Dave has continually demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, both with clients and within the firm, making him a natural choice as the Indianapolis office's next partner-in-charge," said Jim Sikich, CEO and managing partner. "We are extremely proud to have Dave as part of the Sikich family, and I know he will continue to build upon the growth and success that we have experienced within Indiana."
McDaniel succeeds Steve Imler, CPA as partner-in-charge of the Indianapolis office. As Imler approaches retirement in a couple of years, this change allows for a seamless transition with Imler providing guidance to McDaniel. With more than 30 years of experience, McDaniel specializes in taxation and consulting services for both individuals and businesses; specifically, tax planning and compliance, business valuations, expert testimony, tax representation, and mergers and acquisitions of closely held businesses. He is a frequent speaker on financial tax and legislative topics, and has authored a number of articles for professional journals and in-house publications.
"I would like to first congratulate Steve Imler on his career accomplishments and valued leadership of the Indianapolis office," said McDaniel. "I am looking forward to building on our 60-plus years in the Indianapolis market by expanding our services and resources, and continuing to put our clients' best interests at the forefront."
McDaniel is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society, where he is the chair of the Tax Resource Advisory Council; and is a member and past chair of the Accounting Alumni Advisory Board at Ball State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. McDaniel is also on the Indianapolis Zoological Society Planned Giving Committee and the Indianapolis Children's Museum Planned Giving Council.
