Nashville, TN - LBMC staff Hilary Barker and Emalee Hamblen volunteered with Junior Achievement at Calvin Donaldson Elementary School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They taught second graders about the community, the many jobs within a community, and how each student contributes to a community's success. They also taught the children about job skills that are important in careers, how citizens earn money for the jobs that they perform, and how important decision making and voting are to our community. "We hope that after these lessons the students will have gained valuable knowledge about our community and how important each voice is when it comes to decision making," said Emalee Hamblen, LBMC Young Professional leader.
