Firm Receives 9th Consecutive Unqualified Peer Review from the AICPA

Naperville, Ill. - Sikich LLP, a leading professional services firm, is pleased to announce that, for the ninth consecutive time, it has successfully completed a thorough peer review of its accounting and audit practice. During this time, it was determined that Sikich complies with the rigorous quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

"It is our responsibility to ensure that we are delivering comprehensive, accurate services to our clients, all of whom expect and deserve only the highest quality of work," said Jim Sikich, CEO and managing partner at Sikich. "Sikich is committed to offering this superior work, staying abreast of current standards in accounting and fostering overall client satisfaction through continuing regular peer reviews."

Sikich participates in the AICPA Peer Review Program, an approved practice-monitoring program, through which the AICPA requires a review of the firm's accounting and auditing practice no fewer than once every three years. This was the first year the Sikich peer review was administered by the National Peer Review Committee of the AICPA, which oversees the reviews of all Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)-registered CPA firms. Sikich registered with the PCAOB in 2012.

The peer review was conducted by Illinois-based public accounting firm Heinold Banwart, Ltd., which qualifies under the program's requirements for service as a reviewer. The peer review's report states that Sikich measures up to the accounting profession's high standards of quality and professionalism.
