Kansas City, Mo.- Kansas City accounting firm MarksNelson LLC is pleased to announce that member Terry Staley, CPA, MBA, has received the Business Enterprise Institute (BEI) CExP designation for Exit Planning. The BEI CExP designation is the standard certification for exit planning.

BEI is a company that trains and supports advisors to be the preeminent Exit Planning resource to business owners in their communities. Candidates for the designation undergo rigorous training, testing and in-depth exit plan creation coursework to demonstrate that they are qualified to provide professionally-executed services to the business owning community.

He has been with MarksNelson since 1993. Staley completed his undergraduate degree at Westminster College and received an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
