Dallas-Lane Gorman Trubitt (LGT), PLLC, the largest single-office firm in the Southwest, welcomes Lucas LaChance, CPA, CIA back to the fold as the Director of Practice Growth.
Lucas began his career with LGT in Assurance Services in 2007. Coming up through the ranks, Lucas was a Senior Manager before making the move to Director of Practice Growth effective June 1st of this year. During his time in Assurance Services, Lucas focused primarily on construction, manufacturing and not-for-profit accounting, although his new role also expands his areas of expertise to include healthcare, automotive dealer services and real estate.
Lucas is the recipient of the Rising Star Award given by the Texas Society of CPAs and is a published author and editor of several works for the CPA profession including guides for the application of GAAP, audits of not-for-profit organizations, small business consulting and numerous newsletter articles. Lucas serves on the Board of Directors of Voices of Change as well as on the Finance Committee of the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture and is a frequent speaker to local, state and national audiences on topics critical to the accounting profession. He is also the incoming Chair of the Texas Society of CPAs state-wide Nonprofit Conference.
