Sarasota, FL - Kerkering, Barberio & Co., Certified Public Accountants, is pleased to announce that its Young Professionals, in conjunction with the Leading Edge Alliance, recently participated in the fifth annual Global Volunteer Week.  For its part, Kerkering Barberio's Young Professionals raised more than $1,700.00 in donations for Save Our Seabirds.  Save Our Seabirds is an organization that focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing injured birds and educating the public about nature and environmental sustainability.

In addition, on June 27, a group of KB Young Professionals, along with Sarasota Bay Watch, volunteered their time to clean up Skiers Island.  While there, they removed trash and invasive plants, as well as cleared a walking trail.
