Hays, KS -- The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chtd. is pleased to announce that Meagan Wellbrock, CPA, senior manager, was named the recipient of the Woman to Watch Emerging Leader award, given by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA).

This award is given annually and recognizes members who are both emerging and experienced leaders. The category is supported by the Women's Initiatives Executive Committee of the AICPA, an organization of more than 400,000 members.
Wellbrock holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, with a minor in Finance from Fort Hays State University. She is active in the community as a board member of the Hays Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) organization. Previously, she served a six year term on the Board of the United Way of Ellis County. In addition, Wellbrock is a member of the Kansas Society of CPAs (KSCPA), where she serves on the Audit and Assurance Task Force. She previously served on KSCPA's Governmental and Not-for-Profit Conference steering committee.
