Mark Radetic recognized by Leading Edge Alliance as "Innovative Firm Leader of the Year" and received the 2015 KSCPA "Men Who Get It" Award
Radetic has been named Innovative Firm Leader of the Year by the Leading Edge Alliance (LEA), and was recognized at the LEA awards celebration on Oct. 19 in Miami, Fla. Radetic also received the 2015 Kansas Society of CPAs (KSCPA) "Men Who Get It" award, which was presented at an Oct. 28 KSCPA awards luncheon at the InterContinental Kansas City-Plaza hotel.
"I am humbled to receive these honors on behalf of our entire firm," Radetic said. "When you surround yourself with exceptional people who are compassionate about their work, clients and each other, it creates an energizing environment. I'm proud to represent and lead MarksNelson to many more exciting ventures ahead."
The "Innovative Firm Leader of the Year" award is an international distinction that honors an LEA firm member who embodies the term innovation in several aspects of its operation and service delivery, and highlights the accomplishments of leaders in the accounting industry. LEA is the second largest international association in the world, composed of an alliance of accounting, finance and business advisory firms.
The KSCPA "Men Who Get It" award honors an individual who champions the idea that diversity and inclusion in the workforce makes good business sense. According to the KSCPA, a "man who gets it" supports the development of programs for women's advancement, advocates flexible work arrangements and sets an example for others to overcome unconscious bias by being open-minded about providing opportunities that create a diverse work environment.
Radetic joined MarksNelson as a member in 2003 and focuses on providing assurance services, business planning and advisory and succession planning for clients in the automotive, construction and physician-related industries. He received recognition for his innovative leadership in the workplace in 2014, having been named among the prestigious class of national MP Elites by Accounting Today.
Mark's unique leadership style has achieved measurable results for our firm since he took the reins in 2009," said Former Managing Member Larry Vohland. "He has built a culture of progress through collaboration and consensus where we work together to live our mission, vision and core values."
