Springfield, MO – KPM CPAs & Advisors (KPM) is pleased to announce that our managing shareholder, Jim Lewis, has been named a 2016 Springfield Business Journal (SBJ) ‘Men of the Year’ honoree. This distinction is awarded to those who have exemplified community, professional, and personal leadership locally.
“Throughout his two years as managing shareholder at KPM, Jim has achieved big results for the firm. He has lead KPM’s growth (nearly doubling in size after two mergers), positioned us for success (ranked as a top firm in the Midwest by Accounting Today, among others), and driven the development of our first strategic plan (a three year plan with goals and action items),” said KPM Marketing Director Crystal Mapp. “Personally, his leadership is inspiring to me because he places as much emphasis on helping the community as he does the development of our firm. Jim knows that corporate social responsibility is incredibly important and is supportive of the firm’s vast array of community programming,” she added.
Jim’s profile will be featured in an upcoming SBJ publication, and he, along with this year’s other honorees, will be recognized at the SBJ ‘Men of the Year’ luncheon event on August 19 at the White River Conference Center.
“I am honored to receive such a noteworthy achievement. KPM’s success wouldn’t be possible without the team with which I surround myself,” stated Jim. “My fellow shareholders and staff members have worked diligently to position KPM as a top firm, he added.”
