KLR announced today that Jamie Hansen was appointed to the Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) Board of Directors and unanimously appointed Treasurer.
“Jamie’s commitment to animal welfare along with her professionalism and experience in non-profit organizational finance is exemplary and we are elated to have Jamie on our team,” said Douglas Rubinstein, President, Board of Directors.
“KLR has always encouraged its colleagues to join community and association boards,” said Alan Litwin. It is both professionally and personally rewarding as board participation helps our communities and our industry to be successful with great team leaders navigating the way.”
In 1938, a handful of concerned citizens recognized the need for a humane organization dedicated to the protection and care of stray, abandoned, and abused animals. They founded the Animal Rescue League of Southern Rhode Island (ARLSRI), establishing themselves as a non-profit organization in 1970, and recently renamed Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI).
