Dallas —The Young Professionals group of Lane Gorman Trubitt, LLC stepped away for their desks and up to the plate. Even though the holiday season has passed, the need at the North Texas Food Bank (“NTFB”) remains, and it is crucial for the community to help where they can.

The Young Professionals (“YPs”) spent the afternoon of December 14, 2016 at the North Texas Food Bank. They helped pack 300 boxes, totaling 7,500 pounds of food, which will provide 6,250 meals for deserving families across North Texas.

YP Steering Committee member Jules DeWitt exclaimed “It was amazing to be able to represent LGT in our community. The NTFB does so much to benefit families in need here in North Texas; I am just grateful to lend a helping hand towards such a great cause.” DeWitt is a Senior I in the Accounting & Consulting Services Department of LGT.

Another Steering committee member, Jonathan Cook, Senior II in the Tax Department, stated, “I’m grateful to be part of a firm that understands that work is more than just what brings home the bacon. Getting to go out and spend time helping the less fortunate through NTFB is what turns a job into a career, and NTFB is an organization that I can really get behind.”

LGT’s YP group, as well as the firm as a whole, enjoys giving back to the community. In addition to donating time, they host a food-drive every year which benefits the North Texas Food Bank.
