Moscow - SCHNEIDER GROUP is expanding its expertise in the areas of law and taxation by hiring a Director for Legal, Compliance and Tax in its Moscow office. The lawyer Alex Stolarsky is managing a team of nearly 20 lawyers and tax experts in SCHNEIDER GROUP’s Moscow office, a the one-stop shop for international companies with a presence in the Russian-speaking world and Poland. The 39-year-old lawyer will also devote himself to the subject of compliance.

Alex Stolarsky, who was born in Israel and grew up in Germany, graduated as attorney at law and completed additional studies in business law. During a legal clerkship at the superior court of justice in his hometown Berlin, he worked at the German Embassy in Uzbekistan and the German General Consulate in New York. Before changing to SCHNEIDER GROUP, Alex Stolarsky worked as a lawyer in renowned international law firms in Moscow since 2006.
In his move to SCHNEIDER GROUP, Alex Stolarsky sees an opportunity to offer his clients additional solutions that go beyond legal questions: "The bundling of product, market and financial knowledge with the legal and fiscal competence promises to generate a diverse field of activity within the company. With the appointment of Alex Stolarsky in the Moscow office of SCHNEIDER GROUP, Helge Masannek, Group Director Tax, Legal & Import, will be more closely involved in further developing legal, tax and import practices of the company’s network in the different countries it operates: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Poland Import issues. This allows cross-border projects to be coordinated even more efficiently for SCHNEIDER GROUP’s customers active in several countries.
