Nashville, TN, June 30, 2017 – LBMC is pleased to announce the following 2017 senior manager promotions for the firm.

 

Matt Denney has been named Senior Manager in the Tax Department. Matt joined LBMC in 2012.  He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy degrees at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Matt is a member of LBMC's Private Companies tax practice and has over ten years of tax experience.  In his tour through the complex world of public accounting, he has worked with a wide range of clients; from Fortune 100 Companies and multi-national investment banks to local Nashville residents and their businesses.  A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Matt currently resides in Hendersonville with his wife, Lindsay, and their three children.

 

Laura McGregor has been named Senior Manager in the Audit Department. Laura joined LBMC in 2009 upon earning her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy from Tennessee Technology University. Laura has spent the majority of her public accounting career serving the healthcare industry, completing both audit and due diligence engagements for our clients. Laura is active in and continues to support many professional and civic organizations, including Leadership Health Care (LHC) and Nashville Health Care Council (NHCC). Laura is a native of McMinnville, Tennessee and she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, crafting and baking. 

 

Lee Tabor has been named Senior Manager in the Litigation Valuation Mergers & Acquisitions Department. Lee joined LBMC in 2012 and is a CPA who also holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) certifications. Lee received his Bachelor and Masters of Accountancy degrees from the University of Mississippi. Lee’s primary areas of focus consist of commercial litigation, fraud engagements, and business valuations across various industries. Lee and his wife, Jenny, reside in Nashville.

 

Katie Tarr has been named Senior Manager in the Litigation Valuation Mergers & Acquisitions Department. Katie joined LBMC in 2013 and she specializes in Compensation Valuation (CV) services, determining Fair Market Value of physician compensation arrangements for healthcare clients throughout the U.S. Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Capital University and is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP). She has extensive experience in valuing employment, call coverage, administrative/Medical Director, and other professional services arrangements. She also has experience in the valuation of physician practices and various other types of health care service arrangements. Katie has served on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and currently serves on the Advisory Board of Nurses for Newborns of Tennessee.  She and her husband, Eric, are originally from Columbus, Ohio and currently reside in 12South.

 

Brian Willis has been named Senior Manager in the Risk Services Department. Brian is an information security consultant, auditor, and analyst with nearly 20 years’ experience in diverse technology roles. Brian has been a PCI Qualified Security Assessor for over 8 years, leading assessments in the food marketing, food service, retail, healthcare, insurance, and POS system sectors.  Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems from Wright State University and is from Rock Hill, SC. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) as well as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
